Pixelated Cloud Twin Towers

The latest controversial architectural design is here. MVRDV, a Netherlands-based architectural firm, revealed recently the idea of creating a pair of towers using this new concept The Cloud, in Seoul, South Korea. The mainly idea is having two towers, one with 853 ft and the other with 984 ft, and they will be connected at the 27th floor by a Pixelate Cloud that takes up 10 floors on each side. Inside it will have restaurants, cafes, a lounge area, gyms, gardens and conference rooms.

Apparently the problem, is that many people didn't like this idea because of the similarities with the famous 9/11 Twin Towers attack. Many have expressed their outrage against this idea. After this, MVRDV released an apology on their website for whoever have been offended saying "the design inspiration of The Cloud is visualized in their first image on our website, a cloud covering the centre of the Skyscraper." This episode didn't stop the construction, having an estimated date of completion somewhere in 2015.

Well, i love it, it's design in its best! Imagine this 2 towers like a social media, this connects everyone like Facebook. I understand it could look the 9/11 act, but this more a Cloud concept, the future is Cloud. They have my approval.

PROTÉIGON by Burayan

New viral video? i think so... In just 2 days, this video had already been seen by 320.000 people. And i don't see an end to it. Well, why is everyone seeing it? Because it's a pretty simple idea, but very, very well executed! Stopmotion animation by Steven Briand, this video looks like those ideas you already had while doing nothing at home, but you never made it, and he did! Excellent!

Realistic 3D Characters by Damien Canderle

Strange, ugly, expressive, horror, disgusting, admirable, these are some words i thought when i saw this. Excellent 3d modeling by Damien, with such realistic textures, we can see their skin "moving".
I think ugly can be beautiful.
